Brent Millington
Brent has over ten years experience in the IT and telecommunications industry.
His first five years were with Australia's largest telecommunications company, Telstra, where he played a major role in the development of the BigPond Internet and intranet infrastructure (BigPond is the Internet Access division of Telstra). His particular area of focus was to put in place the MIS reporting (Management Information Systems Reporting) environment.
Joining Unwired in 2004 he used his open source and proprietary technology skills to work with the team responsible for building, installing and configuring all the hardware at the Unwired data centre.
In 2006 he moved across to join the ubowireless team where he specialises in the development of backend applications, as well as being DBA specialising in programming, setup, scaling and migrations.
